D is for Dalmation(s)

D is for Dalmation

a dog that's spot on.

A black and white photo

or just colour gone wrong?

There once was a story

made into a film

About a very big family

of dogs just like him.

Was he just one

Of a hundred (-n-) 1

Whose mothers woke up

to find their pups had gone?

The ending was happy

(the criminals were crappy).

The canines were cunning

(they made all the running).

“set us free – set us free”

puppy plea - puppy plea

 “follow me – follow me”

escapee – escapee

“now were free - now were free”

spot on victory

Yes - the dogs all barked up the right tree!

Fun Facts about [Animal]

Dalmatians are instantly recognisable for their distinctive spotted coats. Dalmatian puppies are born completely white, with their spots usually appearing within the first few weeks of life.

Dalmatians are energetic and athletic dogs that need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. They were historically used as carriage dogs, running alongside horse-drawn coaches and guarding both the horses and passengers.

Dalmatians are also known for their strong memories and intelligence. Their natural stamina makes them excellent running and walking companions, although they benefit from early training and plenty of positive interaction.
